Outfits of the Day

Thrift stores go hand in hand with outfits of the day.

I’ve amassed a collection of “outfits of the day” pics, and I’ll share them in this post! Please note that many of my clickable links throughout the site, include here, are affiliate codes so that I can keep this site afloat.

Let me tell you about my experience with these eyeglasses. I loved loved loved and adored them, BUT they didn’t love me back, specifically the bridge of my nose. They were so HEAVY that they were starting to make a noticeable dent that was slow to fade.

Thank goodness for Nordstrom’s fantastic return policy. These are the ‘Marmont’ style from Valley Eyewear, for reference. At least I got some okay pics in them.

The top is by Reformation and was thrifted for $7.99 NEW WITH TAGS. I also have a dress from them that I purchased from Crossroads for $22.50, and I adore both items. Great cut and quality.

I’ve never met a faux fur that I didn’t like, and this one is from the H&M kid’s section, and I got it for $24.99 after coupon. The blue sheen of it goes well with my hair. Pants are from Lands’ End of all places and were on deep clearance for $9 on their site.

Shoes are Miz Mooz, thrifted for $7.99 and still had their tags on! Discontinued style but these saddle shoes from Bass are similar. Lip color is Kat Von D.’s Nosferatu.

This ridiculously cool tiger dress from Forever 21 was $9.99 while thrifting and I have to find the proper occasion. The vintage gold Betsey Johnson dress on my mannequin is currently listed on eBay.

You won’t see me without bangs very often, and this outfit is interesting. I’m in my usual habitat the thrift store, and I’m wearing a vintage BCBG top with my no-name roman shade skirt, as I refer to it. I’ve had it for YEARS. Boots are vintage Charles David.

I have no idea where I got this black veiled headband, but here’s a similar one that I like more.

No makeup and I’m clearly tired. If I were conscientious, I should perhaps clean off some of these dodgy mirrors before I take a pic with them! Like I said, I’m reluctant to call myself a fashion blogger.

The dress is All Saints, glasses are Derek Cardigan from Coastal.com, and shoes are Puma.

Serving Peg Bundy realness and the only thing I could find that’s similar for these leggings are these high-waisted metallic fleck ones. The top is thrifted and is from Total Girl at JCPenney. Leggings are thrifted Forever 21 for $2.99. Betsey Johnson Polly Starburst heels were thrifted for $40. I’ve been wearing Polly of California heels since I was little! There ar
The top is I Love Ronson and has flamingos and is so awesome. Every time I wear it I get cool compliments. I think I only own two pairs of shorts and these were thrifted H&M for under $5. Shoes were Diba on clearance for $12. I’m trying to be fancy at Nordstrom with my off-brand gray/brown faux fur. I got it for $6! The dress is one I’ve had for years. Put a bird on it. Thrifted as well.

H&M thrifted bodycon dress (this one is similar), vintage Tripp NYC star leggings that I thrifted for $2.50. I don’t know where these flats are, but I think they’re from Born. Basic outfit when it’s warm. Blondie shirt from the clearance section of H&M. The purse was on sale at Sourpuss. This dress astounds me every time I wear it. It’s from Gap and is heavy duty knit. It’s super flattering. Thrifted for $7.99 and shoes are vintage 90’s Steve Madden with the cool block heel that isn’t terribly uncomfortable. I’ve had this gladiator belt for a long time, and I don’t remember where it came from. I think that I took this on the first day that I started Learners Guild? From the Penny Dreadful for Hot Topic line, this is the Scorpion dress. I got it on eBay for under $20.

Sunglasses are Genius Child from Valley Eyewear which I got on eBay for $46. Faux fur (one of only two brown pieces that I have in my closet) is from H&M and was thrifted for $5. The dress is vintage Norma Kamali. I’ve had these Doc Martens since maybe before you were born? Half kidding. They’re steel toed patent leather, and I should get some new laces for them! The necklace was from Forever 21 from 2009 in Portland. It’s lasted this long!

H&M pleather moto jacket thrifted for $7.00; jeans are Lucky Brand Brooke black skinny jeans thrifted for $8.99, the shirt is a no-name that was thrifted for $1.99, and boots are Frye.In a rare moment, I paid full price for this fabulous Adidas Originals dress. It’s still available, but at the rate of the compliments, I’m getting, not for long. I paired it with a long discontinued Sourpuss Clothing kids kitty faux fur jacket.

There’s always been a pair of Adidas Superstars in my closet for almost every decade of my life.

My current purse in a daily rotation is the Harvey Seatbelt Bag Medium Tote. I thrifted mine for $7.99. Puma Black Label wedges that are a style staple in my wardrobe. If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me about them.

Sitting on the furniture at one of the thrift haunts. I love my new glasses. They’re the Keiko style from BonLook.$2 thrifted dress from Forever 21; Alpha Industries thrifted bomber parka for $6.50. I do get a lot of mileage out of my Fryes.I’ve got a huge post about all of the thrift scores since the last time I posted!

You won’t even believe what I’ve found.
