Finds of the Week June 28th

I’m going to do a bit of an experiment here and post something on Sunday.

Most people are doing their best to live their lives and such, away from the computer. However, I do have a moment to share some goodies with you!

This will be another weekly posting with the amazing scores that I’ve picked up in my travels.

It’s been quite a week for shoes, which are my specialty. I’ll provide detailed information and also show you where to find them, in case you’re interested in making a purchase. Shameless hint, hint.

I’ve been a fan of Polly of California ever since I was little and here’s the proof. Coco is following in my footsteps and appreciates them, too.

Do you know that Polly of California shoes are still handmade in Los Angeles?

The incomparable Marie Lodi of Agent Lover took a tour of the Polly factory a few years ago and you should totally check it out. Full disclosure lets me tell you that I won a contest on her site a couple of months ago, the one that she did with Buried Diamond. I’ve been admiring Marie for years as she’s the bee’s knees.

Imagine my utter delight when I found a pair of nearly pristine Pollys while thrifting yesterday. It was an amazing haul of shoes, as I got three pairs of John Fluevog!

Here’s the pair of Pollys (branded for Betsey Johnson) that I found. IN MY SIZE!

I have another pair of Pollys, also a pair that were branded for Betsey Johnson and they’re the Gold Starbursts. These are super duper rare and are size 8. I’ve worn them less than a dozen times and they are in very good shape, considering.

These shoes will be going up for auction on eBay at 8pm PST tonight! Get an amazing deal while you can.

Now for the wonderful Fluevogs that are up for sale. I’ve got three pairs listed on eBay right now and they’re all size 8.5. After 2 kids, I now wear a size 9 in Vogs so my loss is your gain.

Your wardrobe will be much more colorful and amazing with these green Fellowship Hi Cecily shoes. Yeah, that’s their official style. These are well made and have plenty of life left in them. The bow detail is adorable and this is my very favorite green.

Onto the Mini Gorgeous Mary Janes. These are beautiful and incredibly versatile. A daily staple that’s very well made and will last awhile. These do show some signs of wear and the right heel will most likely need the rubber replacement.

Last but not least for the Fluevogs is a pair that I can’t find anywhere else. I don’t know what the style name is, but you have to agree with me in that they’re 20’s inspired. If they fit me, I’d surely keep them!

Onto the Stop Staring! Clothing halter dress. I don’t know the style name, but it’s a wonderfully cut size M (which is what Kim Kardashian wears in their size, I found out while doing some research.)

I’d keep it if it wasn’t too big. Strangely enough, I’m not quite the right bust size for this dress and I think that it would fit up to a DD.

Here’s an exquisite dress that I found yesterday. I was supposed to go to a Zumba class in the morning but there was no parking so I missed it. I’m kind of glad I did because I found this dress instead and a beautiful John Varvatos men’s shirt as well as a beautiful H&M black ruched dress (that I’m keeping!)

I’ve got to find an occasion to wear this H&M dress, don’t you think?

That’s it for this week’s installment of “Finds of the Week”.

You’re helping to support me and my family with every purchase, so spread the word!
