My dear readers, I’ve had a lot on my plate lately.

I found the lovely image above absolutely relevant as I just finished watching Penny Dreadful in its entirety. No spoilers, but what was up with season 3? There were some brilliant episodes and then some WTF plotlines and holes, in my opinion. See it for yourselves to find out. I’m eager to see Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children to get my future Eva Green fix.

It’s that time again. Not to string you along, but I’ve been thrifting and listing as much as possible in preparation for another life change. I won’t be able to do as much of my hobby after September 19th. That’s the official date. I’ll reveal all later so as to keep you in suspense.

So onto the finds of the week! Let’s talk about dresses.

The first one is this cheapie no-name brand that looks stunning on! Weird color, but I love the trees and kitties pattern. It’s also va-va-voom with the cleavage as it’s pretty low cut. That’s why the tie is there, haha!!

Check out this beautiful and nearly pristine Jessica McClintock for Gunne Sax. Size 5 and it’s such a wonderful representation of this brand. Not vintage but it could almost pass.

I love the fit and feel of this TOPSHOP abstract print dress. It has a lace-up back and is sort of boho and 90’s all in one.

These vintage 60’s Naturalizers are super cool. Totally Mad Men. Size 8.5 and they do run a bit narrow. In very good shape for their age.

These TSUBO heels once cost a lot of money. Size 9 and they are in like new condition.

NWT Elie Tahari dress that retailed for $348. A very flattering wrap style, size L, and is very stretchy.A vintage ESPRIT 90’s abstract grunge dress, size 6, but fits more like a 4.

I was so delighted to find these like new Miz Mooz saddle shoes. My size, they fit like a dream. Maybe they were tried on once. Cost was $8.50!!Was looking to replenish my favorite sunblock at Nordstrom BUT they only carry it online. FWEH. If you missed it on my Instagram, I was doing my best to channel Audrey Horne.

Top with capped, ruched sleeves by Ann Taylor, skirt from Forever 21, deadstock vintage Danskin red tights, and the aforementioned Miz Mooz shoes in the Hoola style.

The total cost of this outfit was $14.50, minus the planchette ring from Blood Milk Jewels.
Check out these vintage 60’s Carmen Miranda-style platforms! Marked size 6.5, I haven’t decided what to do about the slight discoloration. They’re still in good condition for their age. I wish they fit!img_8247

These platform Dr. Martens are MADE IN ENGLAND, have 6 holes and have DM’s on the tongue. In very good condition, minimal wear on soles and the inside heel of the right shoe shows a little wear. Size 4UK, they fit a women’s 6.5.img_8646

OH and I almost forgot my announcement: I finally posted some things for sale in my ETSY shop.

Here’s a link to my Poshmark closet.

Happy hunting,

Lisa
