Finds of the Week 7.29.16

Oh wow! I’ve been thrifting like my life depends on it lately. And in a way, it does. Until I reveal my big plan for September, I need to sustain myself somehow. I love shoes and I seem to find them at every turn! Here are the finds of the week.

So here’s what I’ve been up to. These are sold, or I’m in the process of selling them, or I’m keeping them. Can you guess which ones? Let me know if you need or want anything, and we can negotiate.

These are a pair of 1940’s dark brown peep toe mule heels. In nearly exquisite condition, approximately a size 7. The only issue is that there is a part of the inner arch on the left shoe that’s slightly worn away from age (unnoticeable apparently when wearing). Other than that, it’s amazing that these are in such good condition.

Winter will be approaching as always. This is one of those fancy Columbia expensive jackets that retailed for over $200. It’s got a removable hoodie and fun metallic disco lining. Size S and in beautiful condition. Will keep you warm for sure.

Is it too soon for an ugly sweater party?

How about some hideous hi-waisted hipster floral denim shorts? Vintage Mixed Blues, 1980’s juniors 13, which is more like a current size 7-ish.

It’s witchy time with these Etienne Aigner pointy heels. Size 8, they’re in excellent condition.

Lululemon Athletica jacket with no size tag, but I guesstimate it to be a large S or little M, whichever you prefer. This would be perfect for running as it’s light and obviously well-ventilated!

I covet this vintage 1990’s Betsey Johnson grunge slipdress. It’s marked a size L and is just too big for me. Bias cut, it seems to fit more like an M. In excellent condition!

These ASOS heels are the Earthquake model and someone once paid nearly $130 for them. I’d totally keep them if they weren’t a size 6!! They remind me of the Spice Girls’ Buffalo Boots UK, which is making a comeback. I loved my Buffalo Boots, and they lasted me nearly 12 years. How’s that for amazing quality?

Dansko Mary Janes. These retail for a LOT. Size 38, which is a 7-7.5.These are awesome steel gray Melissa shoes in excellent condition. Marked size seven but run big like a small 8. This is the style Dolores Spikes and is discontinued. They look like the Jason Wu x Melissa collaboration. I wish these vintage 1990’s London Underground mega platforms fit me! Marked size 6, they are just divine!
I’m off to do some more thrifting today and have been excited about my sales on Poshmark and Kidizen. Poshmark makes things easier as they send you a prepaid USPS Priority Mail shipping label for anything up to 5 lbs. So convenient!

Have a great weekend! One of the things I’ll be doing is rewatching the show Stranger Things. Slowly, so I can catch all the movie references and enjoy the soundtrack even more. Get to it if you already haven’t yet!

Hopefully I’ll be presenting more finds to you as soon as possible.
